Located in Rotorua, just 20 minutes from town, in the central North Island of New Zealand, Kaituna Rafting offer five white water rafting trips ranging from a Grade 2 scenic trip suitable for families, or the less adventurous, through to Grade 5 adrenalin pumping action adventure including the worlds highest commercially rafted waterfall.

The Kaituna Grade 5 is a trip that’s not for the fainthearted, so gather your partner, a few adrenalin-seeking friends or workmates and head off to the Lake Rotoiti Lakeside Holiday Park for the adventure of a lifetime!   If you prefer, we can arrange a shuttle to pick you up from your central Rotorua accommodation.

Professional photographs are taken of each River Rats rafting trip and the Kaituna Grade 5 is suitable for all active people aged 13 years and over.

Kaituna River Grade 5 Trip times:
Summer (Beginning of labour weekend till Easter Monday): 9.00am, 12.30pm and 3.30pm

Winter (Tuesday after Easter Monday to Friday before labour weekend): 10.00am and 2.00pm

Complimentary pick up is available from central Rotorua accommodation approximately half an hour before the trip.
